Zach Keister joined Nelson Financial Planning in September of 2021 as a Relationship Coordinator. Before embarking on his career in financial planning, Zach spent 8 years as an Engineer in a central Indiana fire department, where he developed invaluable skills in leadership, crisis management, and teamwork. His experience in public service instilled in him a deep sense of responsibility and a commitment to serving others—a foundation that continues to inform his approach to client relationships at NFP.
Since joining NFP, Zach has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional growth and excellence. Chris Whitlock serves as Program Director for Nationwide Retirement Solutions in its governmental plans division. He is responsible for plan acquisition, retention and expanding Nationwide’s products and services within existing plans. Chris is also responsible for maintaining strategic relationships with plan sponsors and key partners, while leading a team of Retirement Specialists who provide On Your Side service and education to plan participants. He oversees plans in the state of Florida including the State of Florida plan and city/county plans across North Florida.
Chris joined Nationwide in April, 2007 from his previous position of Marketing Consultant with the Bureau of Deferred Compensation (State of FL) and has 21 years of financial services industry experience.
Throughout his career, Chris received a Certified Retirement Councelor He obtained his Finance degree from Florida State Universtiy. He holds the FINRA Series 6, 65, 26 and 63 licenses.
Chris is passionate about educating public safety workers about their unique retirement provisions. In his spare time Chris enjoys fishing, laser engraving, drone photography, and spending time with his wife and 3 daughters.
