About James Lambert
Jim Lambert is passionate about empowering his clients to safeguard their assets and achieve their retirement and income goals. As a Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA) and Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF), he brings a rigorous, client-first standard to every recommendation he makes.
Jim founded First Choice Consulting, LLC in Milford, Connecticut, in 1999, building a practice focused on retirement income planning, Social Security optimization, Medicare guidance, annuities, and estate planning. He has provided invaluable guidance to hundreds of Medicare recipients, bringing genuine concern to the challenges retirees face today. His son, Mark, now works alongside him at the firm.
Before entering financial services, Jim built a career in the cruise line industry as a Hotel Manager and Executive Chef — where he also met his wife, Kerry. The couple has been married for over 28 years and raised two children, Mark and Abby.
Outside the office, Jim enjoys travel, boating, photography, and culinary arts. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Raphael's Parish, dedicated to serving his community.
